I have to admit the misshaped heel on some of the Nicholas Kirkwood shoes had me scratching my head. The protrusion toward the bottom of the heel is hardly noticeable and doesn’t really do much for the profile. However, it’s become somewhat of a signature and makes them instantly recognizable as Kirkwoods without having to throw a gaudy label in your face. Kind of like Louboutin’s signature red sole.

Regardless of the heel I’m loving these cheerful pumps. Sure the colors are somewhat spring-y, but in rich suede these shoes are all fall. The ice colored glitter heel are flashy and glamorous, and the hot pink wavy applique offers a complimentary transition to the violet suede. Pair with skinny denim for a fun and sexy look anytime you want to add a little color to your fall/winter wardrobe.
